We are currently seeking applications from HCPC registered speech and language therapists who are available to work in mainstream primary schools in the London boroughs of Enfield, Newham and Waltham Forest. Start date September 2023.

Term time only!!    Salary range £32k – £38k depending on experience.

We are happy to consider applications from therapists with all levels of experience. Full-time and part-time roles available.

We have a track record of supporting NQPs through their competencies (we are proud of the 14 fabulous therapists who have been through this process with us so far). We would also welcome applications from more experienced therapists.

Therapists in the team are expected to be confident communicators, flexible and adaptable to the demands of working in busy schools and have strong organisational skills. You are also expected to be passionate about working with children and young people with SLCN and bring a high level of enthusiasm to the role.

As we are predominantly a mainstream school service, it is essential that you are available in term time.

You will receive regular supervision and if you put a message out to the team, someone will always get back to you whether you are looking for clinical advice, resource suggestions or just a supportive ear.

We have a weekly admin day where the team can work together from a shared space. This provides face-to-face contact time for informal clinical discussion and emotional support. For those who prefer to complete admin at home we also offer a weekly team meetings that therapists can join via Zoom.

We value therapists who are enthusiastic, friendly, flexible and excellent team players. All our team are dedicated to developing their clinical skills and knowledge, being up-to date on the latest research and we support them to engage in CPD through both internal and external opportunities. Team members are trained in a range of approaches including SCERTS, Hanen, Colourful Semantics, Zones of Regulation and Shape Coding.
